Our October meeting will be held at Cantina Mexicana (488 Summer Street in Stamford). We will have a social hour from 6pm-7pm with a cash bar and appetizers. The meeting will be held from 7-8:30pm and include a speak-out about our strategic plan.

Please join us for a Family Literacy Night, put on in conjunction with the Stamford Public Education Foundation (SPEF). JLSN volunteers will serve dinner and host literacy and school readiness activities for children from Stamford’s South End attending Springdale School, along with their families.

We enjoyed the beach all summer, now let’s clean it up! Mark your calendars and join JLSN for a morning at the beach. Done in a Day is hosting its annual beach clean-up  at Cummings Beach in Stamford on October 1 from 9 – 11 AM. Families and friends are welcome.

A fabulous opportunity to catch up with Sustainer friends at the beautiful Woodway Country Club in Darien on Sunday, September 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. Passed hors d’oeuvres and carving stations. Cost $49 (includes food and 2 drinks). RSVP by Monday, September 19th.
