JLSN President, Char Zoller explains, “Supporting the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk’s Fall Raffle is more than just an opportunity to win a great prize – it is an opportunity to support community programs in the greater Stamford-Norwalk area, specifically impacting early childhood literacy and school readiness, as well as the development of women community leaders right here in our own backyard.”

JLSN women plan, organize, and execute community service events in Stamford, Norwalk, Darien, New Canaan, Wilton, Weston, Westport, and Ridgefield. Through the League’s Signature Project, Read 2 Succeed, we work to get more books into the hands of young readers and provide literacy-themed events to children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds within our service area. We focus on reading aloud to children, making books accessible to children and helping parents be effective advocates for their child’s education.
