The JLSN 85th Anniversary Celebration at Stepping Stones Museum for Children on February 26th was a night to toast our past successes and to look forward to the challenges of the future. Actives, Sustainers and members of the Spring Provisional class were in attendance, along with special guests including the Honorable Richard A. Moccia, Mayor of Norwalk. Special guest speaker Sandi Kemmish, President of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI), gave an inspiring speech on what motivates women to become, and continue as, Junior League members. Event attendees also had the opportunity to view a display on the history of JLSN from 1923 through the present. The celebration concluded with a champagne toast by JLSN President-elect Julie Halloran and commemorative cake for all.
Look in the 85th Anniversary Photo Album for more pictures from the celebration.
