Since its founding, the Diaper Co-Op has benefitted from donations of diapers from individuals, community groups such as churches and schools and corporations. Please see the information below if you would like to host or sponsor a diaper drive.
Tips forConducting a Successful Diaper Drive
Set a Goal
Choose the Collection Site
• Choose locations that are convenient to drop off diapers.
• Choose a method of collection. The diaper drop-off bins could be as simple as a cardboard box, or as creative as a bassinet, Pack n Play or baby pool.
• Label the drop off bins with the Diaper Drive Box Sign.
Spread the Word
• Send a letter or email to all employees outlining why you have chosen to host a diaper drive, as well as where and when to donate diapers. Include the Diaper Co-Op Info Sheet to enhance your communications.
• Use other communication tools to spread the word such as your organization’s newsletter, website and bulletin boards.
• Donations online at www.jlsn.org. Remember, $1 buys 4 diapers!
Deliver the Diapers
• Contact the Diaper Co-Op at diaperco_op@jlsn.org to coordinate pick-up or drop-off of donated diapers.
