Our Mission
The Diaper Co-Op seeks to ensure that low-income families in our area have an adequate supply of diapers for their infants and toddlers. We also aim to build community awareness about the challenges that these families face, and reform public policy to ensure that diapers are included in “basic human needs.”

About UsThe Diaper Co-Op began distributing diapers in October, 2008. We currently work with community agencies including Person to Person and Malta House to identify and screen recipient families. Junior League volunteers manage the fund-raising and diaper collection process as well as the distribution of diapers. At the one year mark, the Co-Op had reached 52 families and distributed over 100,000 diapers. Approximately 5,000 diapers are distributed every two weeks from the JLSN headquarters or through partner agencies. An information form for agencies interested in referring clients to the Diaper Co-Op will be posted soon.
